About Us

The 2008 Chicago Street Soccer Cup is organized to help promote soccer in Chicago and the Midwest. It is promoted but with certain things in mind. As most aspiring players grew up playing in the streets, the Chicago Street Cup gives the new generation an outlook on the older generations' and how the game was such an important part of life.

Growing up playing in the Streets, the ball was your best friend, and your friends allies. Nothing else mattered. By Playing, we dreamt of becoming the worlds best. We hoped for a chance to showcase our skills one day to a different audience other than the street.

The Street is were we grew up on. It made us what we are. It showed us reality. It's where it all began.

Now it's time to honor the past by showcasing our true talents as we have matured and learned the game. 2008 Chicago Street Soccer Cup is a chance to compete and show respect to where we ALL came from.
